The Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) is dedicated to fostering collaboration, improving mobility, and enhancing transportation infrastructure within the Heartland Region. Managed by a governing board of elected officials representing local jurisdictions, the HRTPO ensures that local voices are heard and transportation needs are met.

In the spirit of transparency and community engagement, all regular and special business meetings of the HRTPO board and committees are conducted in an open public forum. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and participate, as public comment opportunities are available at every meeting.
