Stop by the LRTP 2050 Open House

Following the Joint Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting on December 3, 2025, the HRTPO will host a public open house to share an update on the Heartland 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The open house is an informal, drop-in opportunity for stakeholders and community members to review what we’ve heard so far through public and stakeholder input and to see the proposed plan directions, projects, and options being considered for the region.
Attendees can visit project boards and maps, ask questions, and provide feedback on priorities, tradeoffs, and potential improvements across the six-county Heartland region. Input gathered at the open house will help refine the draft plan and shape the recommended transportation investments through 2050. There will be no formal presentation, so stop by anytime during the open house hours.
